Painting shapeways II

The white frost material from shapeway is total shit. The building would originally not hold paint. After a enamel wash was applied, not problem. The two fireturkeys, paint comes right off on you fingers. The fireturkeys will get smashed for terrain.

This is the building final. The bottom lip will get painted whatever color the sidewalk ends up.

And some WE detachment alignment occurring.

After they are mounted. Then I will finish the bases to ensure the circles the dudes stand on match the basing.

World Eater Basing

World Eaters. Mad men rushing forward to get their hands on…..Well it never really matters. Whatever finds it way in their way. I am sick or board of the strip bases and the squashed 20mm squares. They serve the purpose but add nothing to the look. Flames of wars bases are widely available, but over played. By me too!

The round custom French bases, ka-chow! So full of character, unique, and bottom heavy. (down side magnetizing them)

They are not very cheap. Hell not one part of the army was. No one will bury me with my loot, but they very well mite bury me with my lead!

Painting Shapeways

What a bitch. I got a bunch of Fire turkeys and a building. All done in frost white. Wash and scrub or no wash and scrub, primer does not stick. P3, GW, auto primer. I ended up priming in P3 white then applying a wash of MIG American desert armor. That wash bonded everything. It is an enamel wash. If you are having problems try it!
