All the 6mm terrain this month is GamesCraft. I have some walls to finish and about 6 buildings. The terrain is second fiddle to the Sudan project. When things are drying or hanging around waiting on whatever, I will move on with the terrain.
The walls
The end idea is to create a terrain piece with the walled compounds or village/settlement with them. The examples shown are of the mud brick type where as the Gamescraft are industrial bricks.
The buildings
The Sudan stuff was primed back around xmas. Two different cans of primer were used, both from home depot. It seems one of them did not stick so well to the minis. The grayer white sticks. The super white does not. Minis are Hat and Waterloo.
The skirmishes need to be based.
The balls on pennies will be low ammo markers for RF&F. This side project came about as my daughter broke a necklace.
These three have been an on and off again project for way too long. Maybe over a year? Then it was full steam ahead, until…..delayed again, as I had no pigment fixer. MIG was at AdeptiCon. There I was able to buy the whole box of fixer at 25% off.
The entire thing has been coated in Strong Tone dip. I hate repairing chipped minis. The 6mm stuff takes a beating on most of the sand&paint plywood tables.
The downed Drop Pod is finished.
The FireRaptor? is done too. Those giant chunk of flock I ended up picking out as smashed industrial blocks.
Army specific objectives. I have one more set and a downed Thawk. IFs or BAs, tough call. The Ifs are my normal tourney favorite, but the BAs will be the second HH army what down the pipe line.

Painting The goal of 700 painted minis is roughly 2 completed a day. I have 141 painted in 90 days, 39 minis short. I have painted 60% of last year’s total in 3 months.
Painted the 6mm Desert terrain from Xmas for AdeptiCon and Argentina. Maybe 10 are finished
Start the 15mm ACW project. Zero.
Gaming Try to build an Epic player base in Argentina and host 6 games. Zero accomplished.
I purchased way too much additional terrain during both Cold Wars & AdeptiCon.

The focus over the next 3 months is the Sudan project. I am looking at 91 days, 182 minis plus making up the 39 minis missed last quarter
Another 48 hr travel day for the books. Three taxis, 5 planes, 2 buses and no house keys at 2:30am. Surprise daddy is home. Now come open the door. The dam dog never even got out of bed to say hi. He was very unhappy to lose his spot in the bed!
In the aftermath of doing a back to back double Con, hell yes I would do it again. Next time I will bring cash only. I bought too much shit. Not including the mess I ordered prior to Xmas, that was waiting for me stateside.
