Warmaster 10mm Samurai
Samurai armies are problem army. There are a limited number of enemies they fight, Korea and Mongols. For the most part they fought themselves. Which means you would be painting both sides and hoping to host or run convention games.
My plan to get around this and get the most usage out of them is to run them through the 3 rule sets above. The high frequency use is Warmaster. It is fairly easy to get 6 games in a year between the PA, NJ, and NE groups. Con games Warmaster Ancients, because it is easy to learn, fast paced, and less likely guess players will get board during the game. Killer Katanas is painful to get through. This would be the house hosted event and would represent samurai warfare less abstractly as the other two.
The other issue is Samurai are a colorful lot. If one was to try and represent their style with a brush, you would be painting forever or give up. I have chosen 10mm to cut this factor out. There is no point in putting so much detail into such a small scale. The colorful nature can be represented by limiting uniformity across the individuals based together.
Net EA Tau Vs Deathwatch 3000pts
Deathwatch is pretty straight forward marine list. They lack the normal SM options, the squads are 33% smaller, and the firepower they bring is better all around. This list is in development stage. I found nothing overpowering or made of cheese.
The list, Kal took, contain a spaceship, two drop pods with tactical, 1 tactical in rhinos, storm troopers in chimeras with hydra, assault marines, tellie terrines, Thawks, and thunderbolts.
My list; x2 Crisis, x2 broadsides, Mech FWs, FW in an Ocra, x2 PFs, Stealth, recon, x3 cudas. I forgot the PF had drones with them and never fielded a detachments of PFs. My plan was to use the cudas as AA. They didn’t show up or force a area denial.I will exchange a set of cudas for one sky ray in the mech FWs and an extra suit in one of the crisis suit detachments.
The game ended turn 3 with me up 1 – 0. I took the biltz, never targeted or went after the BTS. In turn 4 I went after the termies with the FW & Ocra in an attempt to break them thru disrupt. I missed every disrupt shot. I should heave gone after the T&H. We were out of stream. The game ended 1 – 1. Tau BTS, Deathwatch TSNP.
The Tau dice were better than avg. The recon were extra lucky making 80% of their saves.
30K HH World Eaters "Jet Bikes"
I got the bases sorted. I will need to cast up some. There just is not enough to go around. But thats another story. Today I cranked thru a detachment of jet bikes, 2 dreads, and a Land Raider. If I was not so shaky maybe I could have gotten the arms on the termies.World Eaters Bare Metal = 346

Lucky me! Some one in Cali was selling off parts via the Facebook group. I got a new cable. My free time yesterday was spent installing and putting it all back together. Everything went back together and powered on. No missing pieces or extra parts! Only the probe doesn’t work. I don’t think it will effect printing.
Today before the games I will try to get some test prints done. Then back to where I broke the cable, printing building panels.
30K World Eaters
I think this project started way back in 2015. Now it is 2019. What happened? I retired, sold my house, everything went into storage, moved to Argentina, bought a house, got married again, got residency, mom got sick, dad had a stroke, sold a house, moved back, bought another house, and got all my stuff out of storage.
Now in 2019 I wonder who bought all this shit?

Where do I sit now? Well I got more stuff than I remember. Plus a butt ton more that was ordered during my Argentine escape. There is no way I will suffer supply issues. Of course now seemed almost like I planned it with the 30K Horus Heresy supplier C&D by GW.
More importantly I have started up again. It took so long to get started as I had lost the box of french bases. Some fool label the box as trees! Anyways some dudes got painted.

WIP
More arms that don’t stay on;
Original color scheme post;
I have settled of white primer. WE white will be foundry Austrian White 67B, highlighted by Italeri Gloss white. This combination with the use of a wet palette keeps the white from looking chunky, and like cake icing. WE blue will be foundry Prussian blue 66C, highlighted by Bavarian cornflower blue 73C. Red will be model color’s Red 033, highlighted by Cavalry brown 137.

Warmaster Ancients "Rep Romans"
More left overs getting finished up from last year. This group was primed and taking up painting sticks. They will represent the Hill tribes or Latin allies.
Romans
Oh I struggle with hand painting shield. I practiced drawing them over and over again. There is a big difference between a pencil and brush, paper and curved lead. Being the smart guy I am, I did start with the back row. Their shields will be mostly hidden by the front rank.
At arms length its ok. Up close, I suck! One side is easy to do. The mirror image is much more difficult. Also getting them the same height is never happening.
The bases will get flocked all together as an army. Otherwise there is no way they will look the same or look like they belong together.
